Traffic Control Person Training (Classroom training) Refresher

Our Traffic Control Person Training prepares you to work legally and confidently on construction and roadwork sites across Ontario.
Delivered in-class by experienced safety professionals, this course meets the requirements of Ontario Regulation 213/91 and follows Book 7 of the Ontario Traffic Manual (Temporary Conditions).

You’ll learn how to direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely, communicate effectively with other workers, and understand your legal duties under Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Course Highlights

• Fully in-class and instructor-led — hands-on practice and demonstrations

• Meets all Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) requirements

• Based on OTM Book 7 standards and O. Reg. 213/91 s. 69(4)

• Covers PPE, safe positioning, hazard recognition, and proper use of the STOP/SLOW paddle

• Includes written and oral instruction, practical exercises, and final assessment
